We built GlobeConnect because we were tired of paying too much to stay connected abroad.
We started this because we lived the problem
In 2021, our founders were traveling between European countries for work and kept running into the same frustration: buying a local SIM card at every airport, dealing with incompatible plans, and paying roaming fees that made no sense.
eSIM technology existed, but the products available were either too expensive, too complicated, or buried inside apps that required account creation and multiple steps just to get connected.
GlobeConnect was built to fix that. A straightforward website, honest pricing, a QR code in your inbox within 60 seconds, and support from people who actually know the product. That's it.
Since launching in 2022, we've connected over 50,000 travelers across Europe and Australia. We're still a small team, and we intend to stay that way — focused on doing one thing well.
